Univ.-Prof. Dr. phil. Carmen Leicht-Scholten was re-elected as a professorial member of the scientific advisory board of the Network Women’s and Gender Studies NRW in summer 2022.
The Network Women’s and Gender Studies NRW is an interdisciplinary scientific network at universities in North Rhine-Westphalia that advocates for gender-just science and university development.
The advisory board has the task of advising the coordination office of the Network Women’s and Gender Studies NRW in all essential questions concerning the network. In this context, the members of the advisory board advocate, among other things, the expansion of research relations between network scientists, the preservation of professorships for gender research and the promotion of gender research at universities, universities of applied sciences and art colleges.
