Announcement of the Winter School “Responsible Innovators of Tomorrow” in the context of the Honors College of RWTH Aachen University
The GDI is delighted to announce the Winter School "Responsible Innovator of Tomorrow", which will take place in the upcoming winter semester 2022/2023 as part of the Honors College at RWTH Aachen University.
Based on the content of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) coordinated by the RRI Hub, the Winter School offers students the unique opportunity to develop socially innovative solutions for current challenges in the context of digitalization and artificial intelligence in interdisciplinary teams. The program will actively explore the feasibility of these approaches and their contribution to achieving the SDGs in a practical way, sometimes in cooperation with external case providers such as NGOs or start-ups.
At the end of the Winter School, the students present challenges and their reflections on feasibility and impact in a pitch. In addition to the participants of the Winter School, interested students and citizens of the city of Aachen are invited to attend. The Winter School will conclude with a joint reflection on the skills and competencies needed by tomorrow's responsible designers and how they can contribute to achieving the 17 SDGs.
