United Nations Summer Academy

Jennifer Bosen, research assistant at the GDI, participated in the United Nations Digital Summer Academy.

 

From August 24 to 28, 2020, 120 speakers and participants from 52 countries came together digitally at UN75 to develop solutions and ideas for implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) under the motto "The Future We Want". In an intensive work process over six hours, Jennifer Bosen and her international team of five other participants from four continents developed a concrete, scalable idea on how to implement Goal 5 "Gender Equality" in a sustainable manner. This idea was then summarized in a one-minute video, which will be shown at the UN75 conference (September 21 and October 26, 2020).
