Shaping the City: Redesign of the "Büchel" in Aachen

In the heart of Aachen's city centre lies the district "Büchel", where most of the space is currently occupied by an multi-storey car park. In the coming years, a new, lively piece of the city is to be created here. This will be one of the most important and intricate urban planning project in Aachen. In order to make it a success, the City of Aachen is now calling for a constructive and cooperative exchange - with interested parties, companies, future investors and potential inhabitants of the "Büchel" district.

Together with a variety of initiatives, the RRI Hub is one of the future residents of the properties on Mefferdatisstrasse and supports the development of the neighbourhood as a building block of a socially innovative ecosystem in Aachen.
