Prof. Dr. Alexander Fekete from the Institute of Rescue Engineering and Civil Protection at TH Köln gives lecture at RWTH Aachen University

As part of the cooperative course "Multi Hazards - Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Dealing with Crises" between the GDI and the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management (IWW) of RWTH Aachen University of the Leonardo project, we are pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Alexander Fekete.

Prof. Dr. Alexander Fekete is a professor at the Institute for Rescue Engineering and Civil Protection at TH Köln. He deals with integrated and transdisciplinary disaster risk science, in particular with natural and man-made risks and disasters. His research and teaching focuses on vulnerability and resilience, risk governance, risk communication, adaptation to climate change, systems theory, critical infrastructures and disaster prevention. He will give a keynote speech entitled "Multiple Gaps in Dealing with Multi-Hazards in Critical Infrastructures and Civil Protection".
