In this course, the students are introduced to the basics of efficient scientific work:

  • Structure/composition of scientific papers
  • Citation methods
  • Literature research
  • Presentation techniques
  • Reading techniques
  • Learning techniques
  • Time management

Intended Learning Outcomes

Students should achieve the following learning outcomes:

  • Knowledge of methods, procedure and criteria of scientific work
  • Knowledge of correct citation
  • Understanding about structural and expedient reading, treatment and presentation
  • Successful, autonomous writing of a scientific work in the form of an ungraded term paper
