Bridging professorship Gender and Diversity in Engineering at RWTH Aachen University shortlisted for Airbus Diversity Award 2018
The Airbus GEDC Diversity Award intends to reward successful projects which demonstrate best use of technology to enhance diversity in engineering education. In 2018, Airbus partnered with UNESCO for the first time.
For this year’s edition, nine projects have been shortlisted, including the bridging professorship Gender and Diversity in Engineering at RWTH Aachen University.
The award was launched in 2012 by Airbus in partnership with the GEDC (Global Engineering Dean’s Council). From the shortlist, three projects will be selected as finalists and they will be invited to join the WEEF-GEDC Conference, held in Albuquerque, USA in November 2018. Besides the global visibility and recognition, the winning project team will receive a financial reward to support the continuation of its work.
Further information about the shortlisted projects can be found on the Airbus GEDC Diversity Award website.
