Responsibilities

Sebastian is a Research Associate and Ph.D. candidate at GDI since November 2021. His research focuses on gendered experiences within the so-called engineering culture from a philosophically and interdisciplinarily informed ethical perspective. Furthermore, he is active in the GDI's teaching program and is mainly contributing with his work to the conceptional framework on gender perspectives in the DFG-funded project Cluster of Excellence "Internet of Production". Further, he transfers his perspective and insights to other DFG-funded projects on a national basis like the "Cluster of Excellence Fuel Science Center - FSC", SFB TRR 188 - "Subproject Equal Opportunities", but also on an international level within the ENHANCE Alliance.

Career

Sebastian studied Philosophy and German Literary and Linguistic Studies at RWTH Aachen University and Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Since November 2021 he is a research associate and Ph.D. student at the GDI, where his dissertation project is located within the Cluster of Excellence, funded by the DFG (German Research Foundation) and supervised by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Carmen Leicht-Scholten and apl. Prof. Dr. Kellerwessel at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the RWTH Aachen.
