The Leonardo project event “Sustainability and Transformation as Opportunities and Challenges for Society”, which is being held in cooperation with the Aachen University of Applied Sciences and the Catholic University of Applied Sciences Aachen, is dedicated to the many dimensions of sustainability.
Sustainability and transformation are to be understood as a task for society as a whole, which requires the cooperation of a wide range of actors and disciplines. Therefore, the event will include keynote speeches by various experts from the field of sustainability and transformation to discuss current problems in an interdisciplinary manner. On May 12, 2022, Sibylle Keupen, mayor of the city of Aachen, will give a lecture on “Sustainability in the city of Aachen – how social and ecological change can succeed”.
