A Quick Introduction: The Cooperative Degree Program, BIOS
Since the start of the BIOS Program in 2020, prospective students can now apply until the 29th of February 2021 for the Summer Semester 2021.
The cooperative study program BIOS (Civil Engineering with Orientation Semester) between RWTH Aachen University and FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences is aimed at students who seek realistic insights into the study program Civil Engineering at both universities in order to be able to make their individual study decision for a university form and, if applicable, a later specialization. There is also a clear focus on the topic of socially responsible engineering design. In addition to a joint orientation semester with the FH Aachen, an additional eighth semester has been designed for students who decide to study at the RWTH Aachen after the first semester. This offers the possibility to gain experience abroad and practical experience as well as further extracurricular competences within the regular course of studies.
Further information on the BIOS program can be found on the website of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and on the website of the FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences.
