International CDIO Conference 2023: Ann-Kristin Winkens and Siegfried Rouvrais jointly present at the 19th International CDIO Conference

Ann-Kristin Winkens, Research Associate at the Bridging Professorship Gender and Diversity in Engineering (GDI), and Siegfried Rouvrais, head of the project DECART: Designing higher Education Curricula for Agility, Reslience & Transformations, jointly delivered a presentation at the 19th International CDIO Conference at NTNU in Trondheim. The conference brings together academics, professionals, and enthusiasts from around the world, serving as a plattform for discussing current topics and developments in engineering education.

The presentation by the two speakers was titled "VUCA and Resilience in Engineering Education - Lessons learned." In their recent paper, Ann-Kristin Winkens, Siegfried Rouvrais, Carmen Leicht-Scholten, Cecile Gerwel Proches, and Haraldur Audunsson explore the integration of VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) and resilience training into engineering education and provide important recommendations for preparing students for future challenges.
